UPI has changed the way we do transactions. Now, you do not have to worry about carrying cash or change for making the payment. You need to scan a code, and you need to enter the UPI PIN. The payment will be made as soon as you authorize the transaction. Even when receiving the money, the money directly goes into the bank account. This is an excellent advantage of UPI. Like all other banks, the Bank of Baroda UPI offers this facility to its customer.
If the money has been debited from your account, do not be troubled. Wait for the transaction to be reversed in 5 days and raise a support ticket simultaneously. However, there are times when you may face issues with the Bank of Baroda UPI. This article has listed the possible issues and the fix associated with the problem. Go ahead and check them out below.
BOB UPI Is Not Working
If the person to whom you are sending money is nearby
If the Bank of Baroda UPI fails, it is worth checking the internet connection and ensuring that you are in pay mode. At the same time, ensure that the person you are sending money is in receive mode. You must also check the transaction limit. If you are using the QR code, then ensure that the QR code is valid.
Using the Phone Number, UPI ID or Bank Account
One of the reasons why the UPI transaction may fail is because of the incorrect details. If you are using a phone number, UPI ID or Bank account, ensure that the details are correct and you have an internet connection. You can also verify the transaction limit and proceed further with troubleshooting if all these things are in place.
Updating the Application
You must be using a third-party app for making the UPI transaction. This could be PhonePe, GooglePay, Paytm, BHIM or any other app. There is a possibility that the application version is old and out of support. In such a case, you will get a notification from the app. So, if your UPI transactions are constantly failing, then there is a chance that your app is outdated. Go to the Application Store and update the application. Try again after that, and the problem should be solved.
Checking the Balance
Another reason the transaction may keep failing is the lack of balance in the account. You can also ensure that the account is funded and that is not the cause of the failure.
Reaching Out to Support Team
There are two more reasons why the UPI transactions may fail. We have shared these two pointers below, and in both cases, you may have to reach out to the support team or banking customer care. Check out the details below.
- Debit Freeze on Account – Sometimes, the bank may place a debit freeze on the account because of which the transactions will fail. If the transactions are failing continuously, then call the Bank of Baroda customer care and check with them if there is an issue with your account.
- Bank Server Unavailable – Sometimes, the bank will give you an error stating that the bank server is unavailable. In such a case, there is nothing much you can do, and you will have to wait for some time, and you will have to try again once the bank servers are available again.
