You will have to connect the kettle to the socket and switch it on. You will have to bring the kettle to boiling so that the scaling is removed or the limestone is removed. If you feel that there is too much of scaling in the kettle, then you can add a little more vinegar to the solution and start boiling the solution in the kettle.
Once the kettle comes to boiling, you will have to switch off the kettle and unplug it. You will have to let the solution sit in the kettle for at least 20 minutes of the scaling is not too high. When you have a lot of scaling, then you will also have to scrub the inside of the kettle with a soft and non-metallic scrubber. Make sure you leave the solution for a little longer than you should. You should always make sure that you are cleaning the kettle for every few months. That will also help in increasing the life of your electric kettle. This way you will have to enjoy a lot of benefits of having an electric kettle at home.
