Disney Plus Hotstar has signed south movie actor Ram Charan Teja as its brand ambassador in the Telugu states starting in 2021. In Northern India, Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan is the brand ambassador.
This is significant since it marks the first time a major OTT platform and celebrity have worked together on the same project.
