Accessing the Portal
- To access the portal, you can visit irctc.co.in and once you are on the homepage, you can simply click on Flights from the top menu option to navigate to the IRCTC Flight Booking System.

Booking Air Ticket using IRCTC Next generation Flight Booking Portal
-> On the homepage, you need to start by entering the details of your journey. Start by choosing the journey type. It can be a One Way Journey, Round Trip or it can also be a Multi-City
-> After making the selection, enter the Source and Destination. Also, enter the journey dates and click on the search Before clicking on the search button, you can also enter the number of tickets that you would like to book.
-> The IRCTC website will now display all the travel options on the next page. Here, you can sort the tickets with the departure time, arrival time, duration and the price of the ticket. You can also filter the tickets using the Take Off or Arrival Time. These filter options are available on the left side of the page. If you wish to travel on a specific flight or if you want a non-stop flight then you can select the relevant options.
-> Click on Book Button after shortlisting the flight and you will be taken to a next page where you will be able to see the summary of the journey and the fare breakup. The luggage capacity will also be displayed here.
-> Click on Add Traveller Information from the bottom of the page and you will be prompted to login to the Portal. You can use your IRCTC Login Details or you can continue as a guest user by entering the Email Id and Phone Number. Also, enter the passenger details including the Name of the Passenger and the Contact Information.
-> Click on Continue button after entering the passenger details and the next page will display the summary of the ticket as well as the passengers. Verify the passenger information and ensure that there is no spelling mistake. Click on Continue to Payment Gateway to make the payment.
-> Choose the payment method and make the payment for the ticket amount. You can use a Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, Wallets, International cards And ePay Later. Complete the payment and the ticket will be generated.
-> This ticket will also be emailed to you and the message will be shared with you on your mobile number. You can obtain the print out of the ticket or you can also use this digital ticket to check in at the airport.
-> Apart from the air travel, you can use the website to access IRCTC Tourism website which can be used to book a hotel or tour package. The link for these options are available on top of the page and you can click on the relevant option to access the services.
