DYSP Full Form in Police is Deputy Superintendent of Police. It goes by the names DSP and DySP. The Indian police force uses the rank of DySP. In 1876, when the policy of Indianization was being implemented, the position of deputy superintendent of police, or (ACP) in the commissionerate system was established. It was once an Indian-only position that was equivalent to the assistant superintendent held by Europeans at the time.

Age requirements
All applicants must be Indian nationals between the years of 21 and 38 and hold a bachelor’s degree or higher. Men must be at least 168 centimeters (5 feet 6 inches) tall and women must be at least 155 centimeters (5 feet 1 inch) tall; a chest measurement of 84 centimeters (33 inches) is required, and an expansion of the chest of 5 centimeters (2 inches) is also required.
The bare minimum for legal adulthood in Tamil Nadu is 165 cm. Each year, the administrations of the individual states compile a list of police officers from the respective states who would be qualified for promotion in the Indian Police Service. This rank is awarded automatically to officers selected for service by state Public Service Commission. Its superior is the Chief of Police, while its subordinate is the Inspector.
